A Baby Whale Ventures North

In A Baby Whale Ventures North, written by Samantha Baker and illustrated by Dawn Baker, the life of a baby whale and its mother are imagined.  They have travelled North to the coast of Newfoundland for the warmer summer months, and the young whale is able to learn many valuable life skills once they arrive, such as feeding and navigating the ocean.  Throughout it all, the mother whale never strays too far from her baby, and they learn, play, and explore together!
