Snake Pillows

This beautifully simple cushion is a faithful reproduction of a traditional design by Fogo Islander Elizabeth Ford originally knit over 50 years ago.

Designed in collaboration between local artisans Margaret Freake, Millicent Dwyer and Violet Combden for the Fogo Island Inn, the Snake Cushion is handmade using the tiniest scraps of yarn. Kits are provided to local knitters to create the knitted strip with the construction of the cushion being completed at Winds and Waves Artisan's Guild.

The Snake Cushion is reversible and offers a splash of colour and comfort.
