Here is Commander Gander at the Gander International Airport, the airport that gave this community the nickname Crossroads of the World. Commander Gander is welcoming everyone to Gander in this postcard by being ready to greet people on the tarmac. Shown in the background is the Air Traffic Control Tower as well as the airport terminal building with its iconic Gander sign.
